DIY practitioner
Hello, The beige, bulb, 36-inch, sweep for the bottom of the Taylor Door arrived promptly after ordering. I removed the old door sweep by using a cutting knife to disengage old paint on the sweep, slid the old sweep out, verified that the new sweep was the same as the old sweep, applied dishwashing soap on the groves, then slid the sweep onto the bottom of the door with a few final taps with a block of wood and a light weight hammer. The threshold was screwed down slightly to allow the door to close perfectly. The removal and installation took less than an hour. DIY personnel were very helpful with the identification of the 30-year old Taylor Door and sweep. Thank you.

If you have a Taylor door this is the sweep you need. Very prompt service and the associate I talked to was quite knowledgeable. You'll have a job on your hands to get the old sweep out, but the new one slides right in with very little persuasion.

Easiest repair ever. Recommend a rubber mallot to insert the Sweep the final few inches.

Quality product and great fit
DIY Store through Taylor Doors was one of two companies that had the exact replacement i needed for 3 exterior doors in my house built in 2000. Could not even find them at lowes menards or home depot. I applied a little Vaseline to the slots on the sweep and bottom of door metal skids it slides onto. Tapped it on with a board and hammer. DIY Store had best price, discounting for each additional purchased and was also able to find a promo code on a google search. Came to $45 for 3 with shipping included. Great find and to my house in 3 business days. These sweeps seem sturdier than any other ones and really seal the door for entrances and garage so wanted to keep it the same. Great product!

Worked Great no Air Leaks Now!
This provided a great seal for the bottom of the door! The old seal was worn out and could actually see daylight out of it. I’m sure there will be no air leaking in this winter!
